Initial Security Audit.

When you take a managed firewall service from 4D Hosting we will work with you to establish your initial firewall policy, based on your specified requirements. If you are currently connected without a firewall we can perform a network scan to highlight areas that may need attention.

Remote operations

4D Hosting support staff will perform all firewall system activity remotely for both operating system and firewall level changes.

Remote operations include:

  • Adding and removing internal / external IP address, NAT mappings for existing / new servers
  • Adding and removing external IP addresses from the list of allowed servers to various rules
  • Changing rules to suit new requirements
  • Applying relevant OS fixes, patches and software upgrades where deemed necessary
  • Checking on the system status of the firewall
